Genuine Seat OEM Retrofit Kit – Infotainment Display Touch Screen 8″

• • Screen Size: 8.0 inches (measured diagonally).
  • Display Type: Active Matrix TFT LCD Touchscreen.
  • Interface Mechanics: Capacitive glass touch control panel with built-in proximity sensors (menus dynamically expand when your hand approaches the screen).
  • Physical Controls: Integrated dual rotary dials. The left knob controls master power/volume, while the right knob handles contextual list scrolling, zooming, and setups.
  • System Integration: This unit is a front-facing display interface panel. It acts as the monitor and control output for the main MIB2 (Modular Infotainment Matrix) headunit computer located in the glovebox.
  • Unit Weight: Approximately 1.0 kg (2.2 lbs).

• • Video/Data Input: Fakra HDS (High-Speed Data) connection. Note that older variations of the harness may utilize a black housing plug (4E0035750), whereas the updated 575919606 display socket uses a blue housing plug (4E0035750B). They are pin-compatible, but the outer plastic housing clip may need to be swapped during standard retrofits.
  • Programming Requirement: Plug & Play component. If you are replacing a broken 8-inch screen with an identical 8-inch screen part number, no component protection removal or software coding is required via ODIS/VCDS.

• Full Link Integration: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink mobile syncing via backend dashboard USB ports.
• Audio Sources: FM/AM analog tuner, DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting), SD Card playback, Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming, and standard USB 2.0 interface.
• Vehicle Menus: Controls and views for the integrated dual-zone climate systems, ParkPilot (parking sensors/reverse cameras), Drive Profile adjustments, and onboard navigation cartography.
